As a small boutique inn, cancellations affect us significantly.
Please note: All reservations require a one-night deposit to be fully guaranteed. This deposit is processed at the time of booking to secure your room.
Standard Reservations
- 7+ Days Notice: Cancellations made at least 7 days prior to arrival will receive a full refund of your one-night deposit.
- Within 7 Days: Cancellation made within 7 days of your arrival date, the one-night deposit is non-refundable. This policy also applies to no-shows and early departures.
Graduation (May 15–17, 2026)
- 30+ Days Notice: Cancellations made 30 days or more before arrival will receive a full refund of your one-night deposit, minus a $25.00 cancellation processing fee per room.
- Within 30 Days: Once the final balance is processed at the 30-day mark, the reservation is fully non-refundable for the total cost of the stay, including no-shows or early departures.
Note: We are unable to make exceptions for family emergencies, travel disruptions, weather related issues, or changes/cancellations to college graduation schedules. We suggest guests consider third-party travel insurance to protect their trip.
Check-In & Check-Out
- Front Desk is available 24 hours
- Check-In: Starts 3:00 PM, Check-Out: By 11:00 AM.
- Check-in: A valid government-issued ID and a valid credit card is required at check-in for balance due and incidentals.
- Late Arrivals: If you plan to arrive after 9:00 PM, please call us at 434-946-7641 so we can coordinate your welcome. Upon arrival, please ring the doorbell at the lobby doors and our front desk staff will help you with your check-in.
- Early/Late Options: Guaranteed Early Check-In at 1:00 PM or Late Check-Out until 1:00 PM is available for a $25 fee.
General Property Rules
- 100% Smoke-Free/Vape Free: The Inn is 100% smoke-free. Smoking is permitted only at the one designated Octagon Gazebo smoking area on the property. A $250 fee applies to smoking in guest rooms or around common areas.
- No Pets Allowed: We are a pet-free property. Bringing a pet on the premises will result in a $250 fee and immediate eviction without refund.
- Valuables: The Inn is not responsible for loss or damage to personal valuables.
- Authorization: By completing your booking, you authorize the Inn to charge your credit card for all stay charges, taxes, and incidentals (including damages, theft, or policy fees).
